I have a bunch of other gear but decided on that particular rig for portability and versatility - you can get so much sonic range from the cycles. The crave was for a "performable" drone and I topped it off with a Microgranny sampler and a multi-fx pedal. I do livestream jams with a bigger, less portable rig on twitch - just look up Fantastic Rectangles on there if you're interested!

Thanks for coming along to the gig, hope you enjoyed it as much as we all did! You should use the standard drum selection technique (map a Macro to the note number) to select the sample in Simpler or Sampler. You can use this technique to provide 'per note' sample change, rather like the Elektron 'parameter lock' (not my favourite phrase in terms of clarity...).Synthesizerwriterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13668943829180629830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5222520500837940683.post-56292736708180804022021-10-14T18:09:19.351+01:002021-10-14T18:09:19.351+01:00Hey, I'm looking for a way to scroll through s...Hey, I'm looking for a way to scroll through samples chromatically 0-127 no matter what midi note is input to a track. Start simple, isolate and work upwards in complexity. So check that the microphone works by recording your voice, then try recording it whilst the DAW is running, then route it through the DAW and record it, and so on.
